DaemonPay
Payment evidence and access authority are different jobs.
The watcher reports whether an exact invoice settled to the operator’s self-custody wallet. It cannot sign a spend, sweep funds, approve a customer, or mint an entitlement by itself.
A separate authorization service validates settlement evidence and seller policy before issuing a scoped, signed entitlement. This keeps wallet custody, payment observation, and product access from collapsing into one omnipotent system.
Pay the wallet
The buyer receives an invoice whose settlement goes directly to the seller-controlled wallet.
Observe settlement
A narrowly authorized watcher reports cryptographic payment evidence without gaining spend authority.
Issue entitlement
The seller’s authorization policy binds a finite access right to the intended identity or bearer capability.
Commerce without captivity
The right can travel farther than the checkout page.
An entitlement can be checked by a compatible endpoint without asking one platform to own the product forever. Revocation, expiry, device count, usage, cohort, build, feature, and transfer policy remain explicit.
Features and private builds
Gate an exact version, capability, device count, or beta cohort through seller-signed authority.
Files and streams
Verify a purchase before connecting the buyer directly to a creator-controlled delivery endpoint.
Portable membership
Prove active access without making the entitlement provider the owner of conversation or member identity.
Usage allowances
Authorize explicit bandwidth, storage, compute, availability, or API units without attaching surveillance to the meter.
Finite recurring rights
Renew access in bounded periods. An expired subscription stops cleanly instead of granting permanent ambient authority.
No compulsory platform percentage
Sellers pay for the managed services they select, not an unavoidable percentage of every customer transaction.
Commercial boundary
DaemonPay is infrastructure, not a bank, exchange, escrow service, investment, tax adviser, or promise that a transaction is lawful. Sellers remain responsible for terms, taxes, consumer obligations, sanctions, refunds where required by law, and what they sell.
Community funding is separate
A donation does not secretly become an investment or entitlement.
People may support the project anonymously or optionally attribute a settled amount to a key-controlled DaemonChat name. Support receipts record exactly what happened without inventing equity, repayment, delivery, ownership, or product access.
